Per a post a couple weeks ago, I blew up the trans on my 5.9L Grand Cherokee.
Curious as to whether or not anyone has put a manual tranny behind the 360?
Curious not only about the mechanical issues that I would face, but certainly also want to make sure it could be done in a way that looks okay on the console.

I've never seen it done, but you could use the transmission and t-case from a Dodge Ram for the swap. The hard part would be the clutch pedal assembly, I don't think Grand Cherokees came with a standard transmission. You will end up spending more money on the swap than just replacing the slush box with a rebuilt one.

If you can find a ZJ with a manual transmission, look for the gold bars under the seat! It would a rare find for a manual ZJ, I bet less than 500 were sold in the states.
