Default Are the 5.2l the same as the Dodge

I was wondering if the 1994 318 in my son's zj would have the same leaking intake gasket that my 2000 Ram had. kegger looks the same, but I have not seen anything on the forum about a blown kegger gasket.

Yep, 5.2 and 5.9 are the same motors that came in the RAMs. Any yep, potentially the same intake gasket problem.

You must not have looked very far because this is a constant problem with jeep 5.2s and 5.9s. They tend to suck oil into the plenum as well.

I haven't a clue what you mean by "kegger."

Kegger, i.e. beer barrel. Chrysler was one of the last of the big 3 to go to mass EFI and when they did, a lot of the truck guys referred to the intakes as beer barrel. That kind of evolved into keg(ger).

I get it.
I've heard there is a hood clearance problem with using some Dodge truck engines in the ZJ, so this might have something to do with that.
