Default 5.2 ZJ Running Rough

Hey guys, I have several jeeps but they are all 4.0's, so I'm new to the 5.2l and new to the ZJ platform.

However, I added a 1995 ZJ to my collection today and it is running extremely rough. It doesn't want to idle, it will barely move under its own power, backfires sometimes. If you give it some gas and can get it up to about 2000rpm it smooths out a little. It died at least ten times trying to get it loaded onto a trailer. The guy I purchased it from said it was running fine and then just went to ****. I don't know how reliable that story is though. I just got it home and may not have time to mess with it tonight, but any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Fuel pressure is between 40 and 45 at idle.

Could be. I would check it out and replace it. It will also give you a look inside and give an idea of how this engine was taken care of.
