5.2 exhaust question

Hello all I just bought a jeep. 5.2 V8 the owner straight piped it and its crazy loud. I was wondering what size glasspack or muffler what I need to fix my exhaust. I'm looking for a muffler or glasspack that will go over the exhaust so I can clamp it down. Thank you so much fellow jeep owners

you need a catalytic coverter and a nice stock muffler. maybe a turbo muffler.

i have a flowmaster american thunder cat back on my 5.2 ZJ. sounds great, not too loud, but it doesnt sound like a prius either lol

I was going to suggest Flowmaster, but you beat me to it. They give that nice deep v8 rumble without being offensive. They're chambered, not packed, so backpressure is minimal.
