On my selec-trac, even while its in 2 wheel my Full time 4wd light stays on, and it shows the front tires locked in. But they're not. I can hear them lock in when i put it in 4 wheel and i can hear it go out when i go back to 2 wheel. So it seems like an electrical glitch. Anyone have any idea what would cause that light to lie?

 

The switch in the transfer case is probably bad giving a false signal to the 4x4 light on the dash.

 

I'll bet you're talking about the vaccum switch right?

 

ZJs dont have vaccum disconnect

My WJ doesn't have a vaccum disconnect.
