It is alot worse sounding and only when I hit the gas clinks and crunches sounds like it's not fully engaged idk I'm new to jeeps and everyone I ask says it's my HUD assembly or cv axles but I have replaced CVS HUD assembly's and transfer case... and u joint on both drive shafts ..

Seriously take a video and post up. In my case it was the chain was worn out in my transfer case and was jumping the sprockets. I rebuilt it, all new bearings, seals, chain, and it hasn't given me any issues since.

Now that I've heard it on video it sounds almost identical to ur video. But I swapped my transfer case already. Will post video shortly. Almost done uploading

It was really hard to hear in that video but yeah sounds like you may have a loose t-case chain. T-cases are really easy to swap so not a huge deal. On the other hand I hear what sounds like either some piston slap/knock or a loose flexplate.
