4 wheel drive issues

my 4 wheel drive works great, but when not in 4x4 it makes a loud metal to metal rubbing or scraping noise. any ideas on what that may be, and how hard it is to fix?dont have alot of money right now.....

Front Diff

Sounds like you need to get your front differential fixed.

do think that it might just need adjusted? i really dont have a clew on what it is....
