Hi,

I'm starting to find out that the only thing 99% of jeep owners care about are lift kits.

I have an '05 4.7L and I believe that I have a cracked exhaust manifold (headers), as per clicking/tapping sound upon start up until the car warms up.

Is there any aftermarket for headers?

 

They make headers for the 4.7 just not for Jeep. There was one company but can't find it anymore.

 

did you take care of you tic problem. i may have the same issue

yeah you can get them for a dodge ram with the 4.7. i have one with a full exhaust system. headers added a ton of torque and go with a magnaflow muffler. other than that you can get new cams but that is about it for 4,7 performance. they arent the most powerful motors out there but have been voted many times to have the best sound and are great for reliability if you watch your coolant levels and change fluids often.
