4.7 starter problem?
Hi all
2002 overland 4.7.
First thing in the morning she starts fine first touch, leave her running for 10 mins(runs fine) then switch off and on again and the longer she seems to run the harder to start. Eventually not starting. Battery is good. No oil leaks, proper oil and water levels.
Would this be a starter problem? Common problem?

Could be the starter getting worn or heat soaked requiring more juice when hot, and/or the battery is getting weak. How old is the battery?
Take it in and have the battery and the starters cranking draw checked when it's warmed up. That should tell you if it's the starter or the battery.
