They'll fit with a little rubbing on tight turns, and maybe more on flexing, but I can't say on that issue as I don't flex my jeeps. My Jeeps are just used on the road. I use 245x70x16's, (which are close to 29.5" x 9.5"), on both of them. Sorry if this isn't helpful.

I run them and I have not trouble at all with rubbing. That was before i did all the triming to. They will be fine on stock rims. Once you get to around 12" wide that is a problem.

Now I do not know but I think you could fit 31s with the 2in and I mean fit by not rubbing. I think that it should work with 31s.

I think im just going to stick with the 30s i know they will fit without rubbing and all
the tires im going to get are Dunlop Radial mud rovers
