242 to 247 Swap

242 to 247 Swap
Yes, you read it right. How hard is it to replace a grenaded 242 with a 247? I have a good 247 in my shop and this is just a driver. I know the case will bolt up, just wonder about driveshafts. The rig is a 98 ZJ 4.0 and the tcase donor is an 02 WJ V8.

I think you will have to put the 242 input shaft in the 247, different lengths if I remember right. Not sure about drive shafts. Maybe change the yoke from the 247 shaft to your original drive shaft.
