I have a couple 242s, and a 231 in need of repair. The 93 Grand cherokee has a 242 in it, and my 94 Wrangler has a 231J in it. The 231 front case is split in half, literally. I need to fix the wrangler, Can I put the 21 spline input shaft in the 242 and boogie forward?
