Model: Grand Cherokee (WK)
Engine: 5.7 V8
Was driving the other day and when I parked and pressed the start/stop button to kill the engine nothing happened. After removing the button I am able to start and stop my engine either using the key fob as a key or by pressing the bottom of the ignition hole left by the button being removed. Engine also starts immediately if I install the start/stop button even without pressing it in fully. Same with both key fobs, replaced the button with a new Dorman unit off amazon, tried draining the battery by leaving the battery disconnected overnight. Nothing has made any difference
