2009 V-6 Spark Plug Replace Question
Has anyone replaced spark plugs on a 2009 3.7 L V6? The coils are not the same as other models. Each has a bolt (not a nut) which remains captive in the manifold, and I can only lift the coil about an inch, until it hits the bolt. The bolt spins (loose) but does not come out. How do I remove the coils?

Im betting the bolt is captured by a bushing in the coil tower, and not the manifold. Carefully rock both while pulling it gently up and see what happens.

Found The Solution: I had to pull up on the bolt with a large pair of pliers. It came out after pulling as hard as I could. There is a large bushing in the manifold.
