Hey everyone...I recently had A/C work done due to evaporator issues on my 2009 Jeep Grand Cherokee. Within 20 minutes or less of getting my car home, my wife accidentally backed one car into the car with the A/C work smashing the bumper and causing damage to the grill.

I just got it back from the body shop. On the floor of the back seat I found what appears to be an ambient air duct (Serial 53013730AD). I have no idea if this came from the dealership who did the A/C work or the body shop who repaired the bumber, grill, etc.

Does anyone have any idea? Also, how important or unimportant is this ? Thanks in advance !

 

If its small plastic ducting it goes inside the jeep like under the dash or maybe in the console if it has air vents in it.
