I need a OCM Module according to the dealer cost is $420. Is it possible to order this part on line and have someone else repair it. Also is this normal for a Cherokee? Just last month I had to replace my starter. My Jeep on has 44k miles. Thanks

Any competent mechanic can replace the PCM, its pretty much plug and play, but I am sure if you take it from the dealership they will charge you a diagnostic fee and by the time all is said and done you are probably better off having the dealership doing it.
Grand Cherokees seem to be plagued with electrical issues so neither one of them sound all too surprising.
