2006 Jeep Grand Cherokee Torque Converter Problem

I have a 2006 Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo. The torque converter is locking in and out and vibrating the car. How do you fix it? Where is the lock-out converter switch?

It's inside the trans pan.

This used to be caused by dirty battery terminals and bad grounds. I don't know if that would be true for an '06, but it's worth a look?
