Hello Everyone

I have just purchased a 2006 Grand Cherokee Laredo and the passenger seat belt receiver is broken, It will allow me to insert the buckle while I press the button down and then latch it but the seat belt Indicator will never go off. Is there anything I can do to fix it or do I need to get another one? If I need to get another one does it have to be that year model or will there be a certain range of years that will work for it

You should be able to get one from the dealer. Don't risk anybody's life with a junkyard seatbelt.

 

Exactly what he said. It will need to be replaced. Just go get a new one.
