I have a 2006 Grand Cherokee Overland the belongs to the wife. I cant seem to let my two year old sleep in the car without the alarm going off.
We have to lock the doors obviously and are quite secluded where we live and can see her from the windows all the time so dont want to leave it unlocked but this is a problem. In the manual it says you can override the motion sensor by locking the car and pressing lock 3 times during the 15 second arming period which I am doing.
Once the 15 seconds is over if she move the alarm goes off. I wondered if this was correct and the motion sensor is supposed to do this?
Does anyone know and can advise?
