I know this is a super touchy subject and Ive read the Hundreds of tech hippies and their Global melting horror stories about how Even discussing this will wipe out mother earth..... With that said, I,m not looking to hear it again sooooo if you don't know the answer to my question and wanna yell at me just PM me.
I am contemplating majorly modifying the exhaust on my 2005 wk with 4.7 V8, Headers/x pipe/High flow hush power muffler, etc.
This jeep is the most gutless pathetic excuse for a v8 powered vehicle I have ever seen. I would put a 4.0 I6 against it any day.
I removed the Cat from my old 5.9 Limited and did a Mil eliminator kit. It woke that baby up more than any other mod!
Does anyone Know if this is possible for These newer engines? I know the Computer system is Totally different and I cant find any info on it.
Note: I know this is illegal and I'm just pursuing information. We don't even Drive the Vehicle far enough for the Cats to warm up enough to even do their Job. So technically they are hurting My "Green" by burning more fuel.
I am just pursuing a massive efficiency build on this thing because My wife cant get a week on a tank driving 15- 20 miles total a day Via combined Short trips. I have had it to the dealer ship and they claim its supposed to be this gutless and bad on gas.... What a rip! My 4 door tacoma long bed (6 inches longer than a suburban) with a 4.0 v6 walks the dog on this jeep..... ugh!
Any help would Be appreciated.
