2005 Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo trans problem
I have 05 Jeep Cherokee Laredo 4.7 auto 4x4 when I put the t in drive it doesn’t go in gear it Sounds and feels like somthing spinning but gears not engaging. Reverse sometimes works. It went out going down highway. Someone said torque converter I dunno. what you guys think

The 4.7 has a 545RFE transmission, right? I assume you've checked the transmission fluid level? If not, make sure you do it properly. Should be at operating temp (hot) on level ground with the engine on. With the brake applied, briefly put the shift level in each position then return it to neutral and check the level. Too high or too low can both cause problems.

Yes ive checked and yes it is545
