I took my Jeep to O'Reilly's yesterday and had them run the codes. As I suspected, it pulled up code U1411 and the number one fix suggested with that code is to change the ignition switch. I want to wait for the recall part to be available since it would be a free fix, but how long am I going to have to wait? Almost tempted to just buy an after market switch and have somebody else install it.

Wife's WK is now doing this.. 85K miles on Jeep.
Anyone know if the ignition switches are now in stock and available? I knew about this recall but put it off after reading of all the hard to turn replacements being offered.
Guess i'll order up a MF switch and get that in first.
