This Jeep only has 80,000 miles on it. No rust, Florida car. Anyway, recently, while in Flroida, on chilly AMs it would start up like I have my foot on the gas pedal to the floor. Idle real bad and then stall. Used Seafoam, helped but not cured. Had a throttle clean at a certified service station, helped but not cured. Home in NY, where it is always chilly in the AM, it has started the same problem. Took it to my mechanic here, cleaned all the necessary parts again, but it still is giving me the same problem. Any suggestions?? Do not want to go dealer, if I can avoid it.

Was the IAC (Idle Air Control Valve) cleaned at some point in this process? And just to confirm, the throttle body was removed and throughly cleaned?

Thanks for the reply:
Yes, twice the throttle body has been apart and cleaned.
However, I made an appt, for Thurs. to have the Idle Air Control Valve to be examined and cleaned. Thank you for your suggestion.
