2004 wj w/ 4.7L- running rough and tapping

Update:
Found that one of the lash adjusters failed on #8 cylinder, allowing the rocker to be set free from it's place underneath the cam. Replaced lash adjuster. Inspected and returned the rocker to it's place.
A fairly cheap fix even if it was labor intensive just to get the passenger side valve cover off.
Vehicle is running perfectly, once again.
