Default 2003 HID HOOK UP Please help

Hi there i have a 2003 grand cherokee and i just installed hid for my low beams. I installed the relay but i have an issue. When my daytime running lights are on or auto my light flicker and strobe. How could i fix this issue? I went trough 2 sets of ballest in the past 2 days. What am i missing? I installed them on my 2005 chevy durmax diesel and no problems. Is there a trick or what for this unit?????????????

you probably don't have enough ground going to them. if that is not the case try without relay. thats how did mine and it works fine

Cool hid

how do you ground it. It says plug and play. Do you slice into the ground on the harness and run it to the frame. They work perfect when they are on the on position but when i start my vehicle and the day time lights come on and they flicker and stobe and i keep burning out ballest. What else could I do????????/

yeah splicing into it usually works. thing is that when your daytime running lights come on they don't take as much power as when your normal lights come on so there for the ballast is getting the juice it needs. if the grounding doesn't work trying splicing the power Jeeps are tricky. if neither works than just get rid of your daytime running relay and save the life of your bulbs
