My cousin has a WJ with the 4.0l. His electric fan is dieing and he's having problems finding one. It has the tow package and from what he could find the fans are different. I was wondering if anyone could confirm this. Also what COM fan should he need since there is so many out there ranging in price from $50 to $400. He doesn't want to spend $400 if its not needed. Any input would be appreciated and thanks in advanced!

Well if you want to upgrade go the the local JY and get a efan from a 94 or there abouts linclon mark VII, Tauras, or any of the Ford products in that aira that have the 2 speed fan from the 3.4 engine.. You will know it is the better one as it has three wires in the connector.. Usually fits with very little modifing to be done.. To make it super effecent think about geting the Delta Controler to go with it.. makes for a great swap and upgrades the efan system.. and if you ever need a new motor for the fan AutoZone and others have in on the shelf.. Just need to know what vehicle it came out of.. its easy to remove, took mine out in under 10 minutes.. Installed in less then 2 house..
