2002 jeep grand cherokee electrical problem/ dies before 2 days
Wasup guys so i just recently bought a limited 2002 jeep grand cherokee a few months ago and I noticed if i leave my car off for around a day and half or 2 days and i go to crank it up it is completely dead. Its weird because ill take the negative off the battery and leave it off for around 5 minutes and i go back and put it back on ill start the car and itll start just fine like nothings wrong with it, its like it reset or something. I did the test light to the battery test to see if anything was pulling voltage when the car is off and there was, i checked it with a volt meter and it is pulling 7 volts whatever it is. I pulled a fuse that said jb power at the front of the jeep and the test light cut off and i was getting no voltage drop after that. What cut off was the lights on the inside like the dome lights, door lights, and also the security system cut off i believe because i shut the doors locked the doors and no lock sound went off but it did lock also the security red light thingy wasnt going off but when i put the fuse back in and locked the doors again the light started working again. The only things i have done to my jeep was put in a new sony mex100-bt radio and i bypassed the factory amplifier because i wanted extra speaker output out of my radio. But when i pulled the fuse the radio still worked so i doubt its the radio or anything like that. Any help would be awesome and appreciated thanks for your time.

Okay, "jb power" is for the junction box under the dash and supplies power to just about everything on the jeep besides the powertrain. I suspect your radio installation has something to do with your power draw. You'll have to do a parasitic amp draw test to find the culprit. With that, you place an ammeter between the positive battery post and the cable end and start pulling fuses one at a time.
