2002 Blower Motor issue
Hi everyone,
I have an issue with my wifes Jeep that I can't seem to figure out.
The Blower motor stopped working so I have already diagnosed and replaced the following:
-The blower motor control module
-The pigtail that goes from the control module to the blower motor.
Now that I have replaced both of those, when I plug in the pigtail to the blower motor, the motor spins on high, whether the key is in the ignition or not.
I am getting a continuous hot signal to the control module.
is this a relay problem, and if so, where is the relay located, I cannot seem to find it.
Any suggestions would be appreciated! It is starting to get cold here in South Carolina, and a happy wife means a happy life!

If i remember correctly theres quite a bit of info on the HVAC and common problems associated with it. I'm not real knowledgable on the WJ's yet as the Mrs only had one for the last 1.5 years or so... that site has helped me quite a bit already.

Welcome to CF.

Some models use the ignition switch to engage the blower motor relay. Defective ignition switch may allow the blower to operate with the ignition off. Check ignition switch operation and related circuit wiring to blower motor relay.
