2001 grand cherokee limited 4.7l .It sat for a year before I rebuilt engine. When hooking up the starting system plug (by radiator) got plugged into the hydraulic fan plug. the starter would actavate when ign. switch was turned to run. I corrected that and double checked all other connections. Now when I start it, it will run & accelerate good for 4 or 5 minutes then shut off. when you try to restart , it starts but stops with in 1/2 a second. After it sets for a couple hours , it will run another 4 or 5 minutes and shut off .I cleared codes ran it until it stopped . rescanned and has code P0601 . Could pcm be causing this .Thanks

check the ignition coil for spark,lessen if fuel pump runs for the 2 sesond

 

It will atempt to restart , but starts & dies. I do here fuel pump run when turning key to on. I haven't checked fuel pressure when it stalls, maybe fuel filter plugging up?
