Default 2001 GC trailer itch question??

I have a 2001 GC that never came with the trailer package so it would take the trailer hitch that drops down to accommodate the lack of a cut out on the rear fascia .... now I picked up a trailer hitch WITHOUT the dropped down hitch bracket but it still came off of a 2001 GC. The question is, can I still use this hitch and cut out/notch my rear fascia? Please help. I plan on either putting on the one I have that doesn't drop down or I need to look for another that does drop down. Thanks in advance.

shouldnt be an issue if it came off the same model jeep. just have to cut out some of the rear fascia.

You might want to grab the aux trans cooler and the lighting module off the donor vehicle as well.
