Question 2000 jgc belt tensioner issue

I have a 2000 Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo w/4.0 6 cyl.I can not find any information online about the type of tensioner this Jeep has.Haynes book is no help at all.The bearings in both the idler and tensioner are dry so I am going to replace both pulleys. The idler is no problem but the tensioner is.I basicaly need to know if just the pulley can be changed and not the entire assembly.I have bought both pulleys. The tensioner appears to have a torx bolt thru the spring loaded part threaded into the alternator bracket.Unless I can find some more info I plan to remove the alternator and bracket then swap out the pulley on the tensioner which is bolted to the alternator bracket.I tried to loosen the torx bolt on the tensioner but it was very tight so I stopped so I wouldnt mess it up.Any advice would be a great help.
