Default 2000 Jeep Grand Cherokee

Upon starting my jeep runs normal except there is a wooshing noise seemingly coming from my brake pedal. Brakes seem to work fine. When press on the brakes the noise becomes less, and if I stand on the brake pedal the noise stops completely. Any suggestions

Your brake booster may be starting to fail.

X2. Vacuum seal on the pedal shaft or diaphragm. The funny thing is my 2000 used to do that only on hard braking and I never did anything about it. After a while (50K) it stopped doing it but still works fine.
