Welcome to CF.
I'd do a compression test to check for any stuck/damaged valves, possible valvetrain issues, or possible head/piston damage in a combustion chamber. JMO

You know timing is off, its popping through intake, making a horrable noise from the front.... Probably gonna be a timing chain, guide broke or something. how many miles on it? And does it only make the "noise" under load, or at idle also? Chain will sound like a slapping noise.
