2000 GC Front Axle
My daughter came by last night complaining of a terrible noise in the right front of her 2000 GC. After driving it and checking underneath and finding a torn CV boot, I believe the CV joint is gone.
I plan to replace the right axle shaft. I've done XJ shafts and have been able to pull the shafts without removing the splitting ball joints and removing the spindle. Does the GC and CV joint axle work the same way? Can I get the shaft out without splitting a ball joint?
