2 Jeep Grand Cherokee 4.0 inline 6 - AC Question
I replaced a radiator on my mothers 2002. It's a Laredo Sport. AC blowing cold right after I installed it. Very next day it was "not blowing as cold"
I replaced the expansion valve last night but I didn't have enough R134 so I filled what I could and she drove it today.
She called me at noon and said "it's hot as hades out here I gotta try it." So she did and nowI can't install anymore R134 cause the gauge is through the roof high and the drier is rattling something fierce when the compressor engages.
Did she burn up the new expansion valve not having enough R134 in the system?
Thanks guys.

Did you vacuum pump down the system before you added the refrigerant? You may have ice in the system now.
