Made my own, out of 4x4 square tube. Welded two pieces of 1/4 inch flat plate steel top and bottom. Cut my holes center and used the factory spring rubber. Zero issues with it. 96 ZJ with 31x10.5X15 tires. Replaced my shocks with the $50 ranchos rated for the 2-3 inch lift.

Poly spacers....
Rubber wouldn't last very long.

I would not expect it to hold up under rigorous off road activity. I think this is intended to be more for appearance. Its very thick rubber. Not likely to degrade quickly. There is thinner rubber parts under every vehicle that holds up well. It is certainly affordable. $80 vs. $369? I think that's why they call it a "budget lift".

The $80 kit does not include shocks, hardware or bumpstop extensions.

There's more to lifting a rig than just adding some spacers.

JGC site says replacing shocks is not necessary. What do I know? If I knew, I wouldn't be posting here.

The spacers aren't made of rubber. They're made of polyurethane and do hold up well. But as stated before, there is more to lifting a vehicle than just jamming spacers on top of the springs. Cheap is not always good and you may end up with a rig that handles like a shopping cart.

I understand, but thats why I asked if anybody had any experience with it. I was curious if it affected the drive ability. I already know if you invest a lot of money in a lift your probably better off. I was curious about this product. I asked JGC what they were made of. "Bradly" said rubber.

I had a Tera Flex 2" spacer lift on my ZJ when I first got it. It was noisy and I had some handling issues with it. I had death wobble, but it was a combination of the lift and worn parts I'm sure. I didn't like it. I now have a long arm kit and love how it rides and handles.
