Default 1999 JGC 4.0liter issues

Started out last week with Jeep sputtering and ultimately dieing on the road. threw a Cam sensor code and fuel pump code. Finally got it started. limped it home and replaced cam sensor. Ran it a few times on short trips with no issues. Wife drove it 20 miles to work and it would lurch, tach would go to ZERO and then it picked itself up and ran again. Starts were rough for about 30-45 seconds and then smoothed out. She got it home and I replaced the fuel filter which was plugged horribly bad. I started it and fired right up smoothly and ideled well. She made it 5 miles before it would cut out, run and then cut out again. she made it most of the 20 miles before it finally just stopped running. She went out at 9pm and cycled the key 3-4 times and it started but would run roughly when stepping on the gas. this morning she said it fired right up.

I am wondering if the fuel pump is warming up and killing itself or if the throttle position sensor is wonky. Either way I'm thinking of replacing both as I am positive they are the Original equipment. She says no CIL is coming on. Just looking for other avenues. Could it be the crank sensor? Looked that up. fun times to replace that
Any help would be greatly appreciated

My opinion? It sounds like a failing crank sensor. You might also have a dirty IAC (idle air control). YouTube that.
