I am going to look at a 99 4.7 grand, the owner says the shift lever moves freely but the jeep doesn't actually engage any gears. I know on TJ's it has a plastic bushing that breaks and results in this issue but don't think the grand has it. Hoping someone knows what to look for? I would think the cable but don't know if something common on these.
