At least $50 i think...i've seen where guys pull the carpet back and cut a small access hole by the gas pedal to get to it as well....make sure and check the wiring/connector first and remember the paper spacer.

hey, I'm all aboput easy access fixes. I'll try getting the car up on my ramps first and crawl underneath to take a good look. I may put two paper spacers in - you have me paranoid now!

I take the '85 out once in a while. Lots of fun. The '86 has been converted to auto w/rmvb and isn't really set-up for these curvy roads. It earns its name in a straight line though. Goes Like Hell!

I had these built using the '89 Dodge 2.2/2.5L common block, forged crank & rods, .040" over forged pistons, and a lot of head/manifold porting, bigger turbos and injectors,... lots of things I can't remember 'till I look at my papers. Too much tied up in 'em actually.

Just came back from the auto parts store and picked up 5 qts of 20W50 Castrol syntec, Fram oil and air Filter, and a qt of slick 50. Will this oil be too thick in the winter you think?

That's too thick IMO. 10W30 is as thick as I'd use in the winter.

looks like I'll be changing oil again in November. I just feel safer with thicker oil in the summer.
