I just replaced the window regulator on my front drivers side. I kept the old motor as it still worked and the teeth were in good shape.


The install went fine but it grinds when it reaches the open and closed position.


I wasn't sure how to install the spring. How much tension has to be on it?


What tells the motor to stop?


Any ideas?
