1998 Jeep Grand Cherokee Limited 5.9 build number
Hey there, I am new here and looking for some information. I have a 1998 Jeep Grand Cherokee Limited 5.9. There were only 14,286 of the limited 5.9's made. Mine was made on Mon Sep 29, 1997. I am trying to find out the exact number of my truck. If anyone could help it would be greatly appreaciated.

I tried the dealer and I also tried Chrysler. No one can tell me anything. They could not even tell me that there were only 14,286 Limited 5.9's made.

I can grab the last 8 of the vin from my 5.9 and that will give you a little bit better idea, its a start. Not sure how accurate you are wanting to get it, but maybe just PM people you see on here with a 5.9 and you can at least get a range.
