I have traced the problem to the instrument cluster circuit, now here's whats weird. When the battery gets low, the key-in switch chimes with the key out.....putting a test light between the neg. bat. post and cable gives a pulsing light and sometimes you can hear a clicking sound like maybe a relay opening-closing in time with light. I'm new to Jeeps and am stumped. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

 

Something in the column grounding out?

Also moved to Grand Cherokee Tech. OEM is for XJs.
