I'm looking at buying a clean and straight 1998 5.9 V8 with just over 200k. Before I take a good look throughout it, I am wondering how easily available replacement parts are since it is a rather uncommon vehicle. Any advice?

not much more difficult than any other vehicle, all common stuff

 

It's a Dodge 360 after all.

 

The 5300 9121 engine oil dipstick tube is discontinued, so leave it in-place and protected during a rebuild. One of the exhaust manifold heat shields is also discontinued.

Almost all of the rest of the parts, including fasteners, are available as Mopar. Everything is available as aftermarket.

 

Yeah its a dodge 360 in it in english,Small stuff like the grill and hood vents might be harder to get but everything else on it would be standard oem replacement parts.
