1997 Grand Cherokee starting issues
Please help, I am new to Jeeps and to this forum. My friends Jeep is having starting problems. When you turn the key it fires up but then dies. I am wondering if it might be the fuel pump? or sensors? Any ideas??? Pleas help Thanks

Welcome to CF!
My thoughts? security system or the CPS (crankshaft position sensor). If the PCM doesn't get a signal from the CPS, it will shut down the fuel pump and the injectors. It does this by turning off power to the ASD (auto shut-down relay).
