1997 grand Cherokee
Hi,
im just going to buy a 1997 cherokee, great shape, only concerns i have, one the steering wheel feels hard to turn, i asked the owner, they said they dont feel it, but i do, i this normal may be due to the age of the jeep? or should i worry about power steering or something?
the second concern is the brakes, it takes more compression to break fine, again im not sure if it;s due to the age, and the current owner says they dont feel it.
any thoughts would be highly appreciated, im going to pay for it in the next 2 hrs.
thanks.

First off welcome to the Forums.
As far as the p/s goes, does the pump whine when the wheel is turned? And in regards to the brakes, if there hasnt been any brake work recently, (i.e. air in the lines) the master cylinder may be on it's way out.
