1997 GC 4.0 Trans leak

1997 GC 4.0 Trans leak
I have a 1997 4.0 Grand Cherokee with a real bad trans leak at the front of the trans, just pours out when running, no leaking when sitting. Is this a common problem with these? RPMs flare when in first gear as well. Thanks
