I was given a 1996 zj and it runs and drives, but i was told it was missing on a cylinder. It seems to be missing on #1, it’s less of a miss and more like just doesn’t run on that cylinder at all, it has a lack of power and nearly dies in gear at idle. There’s spark, I dropped my compression tester adapter and cannot find it when trying to test compression so I can’t do that right now but that’s my next step
Edit: for more context it has 180k miles so head gasket isn’t out of the equation so it may not have compression. Also I was told alternator was bad, but it seems to work fine so there may be some electrical issues as they said it would need jumped sometimes

 

When braking as well it also like jolts weirdly, but I’m assuming it’s to do with the poor running
