Alright guys, I have a 1996 zj (4.0) with 211k miles, I'm just a high school kid looking to lift his jeep affordably. If I were to buy a lift kit, say online, (rough country) would I need to buy the recommended components along with it? Is there a cheaper ~ smarter ~ way to get a few inches out of her? I'm looking to put 31's or 33's on it. Maybe a 4" lift is what I've been told.

Above is my main problem, if you have any suggestions pertaining to a build for my zj, I'll be glad to take them. Additionally, the jeep community rocks!
