1996 jeep grand cherokee running lights not working

Default 1996 jeep grand cherokee running lights not working

my brake lights work and my reverse lights work but not my running lights nd my gauge cluster lights dont work but if i put the head lights on auto and hit the brakes the head lights blink and the guage clust lights blink how do i fix it?

Sounds like it could be the headlight switch is bad.

ok ya ill try that i also heard it cdould be a fuse between the main harness and the rear harness but idk where that would be

I don't see any such fuse in the manual.

it ended up being fuse number 17 in the fuse panel i was searching the harnesses nd could find it then decided to try the light fuse i think its certicy idk how to spell light fuse nd it was blown replaced it now it works

Get you a repair manual for your ZJ, if you don't have one yet. They come in very handy, and can save your **** sometimes.
