Your idle speed specs should be posted on the VECI sticker on the core support. This is the same sticker that has a pic of the vacuum lines and a couple other specs. Anyway like said above and regardless of your engine size, the idle should be above 700.
You might try cleaning the throttle plate and IAC, I would recommend removing the IAC to clean it too, since this valve is what controls idle speed. The IAC is the little round thing mounted to the throttle body and it is mounted on the back side facing the firewall. Un-plug it a remove the 2 torx screws and clean the tip, also clean the passage for the IAC.
Its best to reset the PCM, so it can re-learn the idle speed after cleaning, easiest way is to unplug the battery for a couple minutes, the time it takes to clean the T/B and IAC is long enough.
